NOTES ON INGREDIENTS

PEANUT OIL. We used peanut oil for all of our stir frying, but you can use any high-heat oil.

SOY SAUCE. Unless otherwise noted, all recipes use light soy sauce.

RICE. For Dad’s white rice, use a 1:1 ratio of short grain to long grain.
