South Africa, botswana, zimbabwe | 07.2018
A few years before my 30th birthday, I set a goal: to travel to 30 countries before reaching this milestone. It didn’t feel right to hit this goal without setting foot on one of largest continents, so I decided to close out my 3rd decade in Africa. I booked a 3-day safari in South Africa’s Timbavati Game Reserve at King’s Camp, followed by a week-long overland trip with G Adventures through the Okavango Delta in Botswana to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Let’s just say, even this not-really-an-animal-lover was awestruck.
